Scott Griffith, PA-C

Scott is a Physician Assistant and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. With a background in Cardiology, Urology and Family Medicine, it was during his 7 years in Family Medicine that Scott became clearly aware that the current traditional medical treatment model does not sufficiently support patient wellness. This led him to pursue Functional Medicine, nutrition, and mindfulness meditation and to personally implement them into his own health care. The positive changes he experienced, as well as those he witnessed in his patients, continue to propel him along his path.
Scott received his Master of Science in Physician Assistant degree through a joint program at Seton Hall University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He trained in Functional Medicine with The Institute for Functional Medicine and Functional Medicine University, and Anti-Aging Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Scott received training in Mindfulness Meditation through the University of Massachusetts Medical Center’s Center for Mindfulness and the University of Pennsylvania.
Originally from Connecticut, Scott has relocated to Asheville from Bucks County, Pennsylvania with his partner Tim, and their four rescued animals, two greyhounds Roxie and Teak, a Chinese crested named Cooper, and Leo the cat.
